San Francisco, CA – Each year people from all over the country and Bay Area attend the Specialty Food Association’s Winter Fancy Food Show in San Francisco. The popular event showcases food artisans, entrepreneurs, and importers and has helped to launch such famous brands as Ben & Jerry’s and Honest Tea. This winter the hot new “it product” Le Bread Xpress will be presenting their upscale vending solution at the convention.

“We are thrilled to have this opportunity to showcase our vending machine at the Winter Fancy Food Show,” says CEO Benoit Herve. “This is the first time Le Bread Xpress will be in operation and displayed to the public. For this event we will be delivering free baguettes that were provided by Bridor. They operate one of the largest bakeries in France.”

Le Bread Xpress is a micro-bakery that can deliver hot, fresh baguettes with the press of a button. This new style of vending machine has already been integrated into more than hundred locations all over France, producing piping hot baguettes for gourmet customers on the go. The product was tested in the San Francisco region with extraordinary results. They attribute their success with being able to deliver quality products quickly.

“We work with only the finest bakeries,” said Benoit. “In Europe a good baguette is a thing of pride and we wish to continue that tradition by bringing only the best to our customers.”

Le Bread Xpress will be presenting at the French Pavilion with other French companies who are coming to the US to showcase gourmet food. The product could not be possible, says Benoit, if it were not for the technological advances and support of French companies, Panivending and Mecondielle. “Mecondielle is a pioneer in the creation of mechatronics systems, notably in the development of the first baguettes vending machine,” he explains.

Le Bread Xpress is working to expand its reach outside of the Bay Area and has been partnering with major companies and working with private investors on Fundable.

The Winter Fancy Food Show is held at the Moscone Center in San Francisco, CA on January 21-23rd, 2018.
