Palm Beach VegFest – The Vegan Festival To Watch Grow in 2018

by Lisa Sussman28 January 2018

The energy at the Palm Beach VegFest was rooted in the local flavors of Palm Beach vendors that came out the inaugural event to end 2017. The communities of vegans who support this type of large scale event are as varied as they are connected in the common thread of health and wellness.  The Vegan Society over 465,000 followers provides support to a growing worldwide community and offers up its support to events like Palm Beach VegFest by assuring that all products are vegan and cruelty free.

Courtney and Mike Mitchell, co-creators of the VegFest, the ultimate series of Vegan Events, both bring unique strength in education, product, producers, influencers, and key note speaking platforms. When I interviewed Courtney her enthusiasm was clearly felt by all.

“ This is the first of 6 events planned for VegFest and today’s event as always, is a free family event with lawn games, free samples, and everyone is welcome.”

It was the vibe of the day. The fest was the perfect platform by which Mike Mitchell launched his product “NuGrub”, a vegan food alternative that replaces a meat source in any food.

Mike says, “NuGrub is a revolutionary way to use food now. Add water to the powdered mix and it replaces ground meat in any traditional recipe.”

The local event in Palm Beach moved to its second location last weekend in Mizner Park, Boca Raton FL. This event has grown from 38 vendors to over 85 vendors plus food trucks, a 40% increase in 3 short months. National sponsorship from BMW, Lekithos and The Vegan Society brought out the locals from all around South Florida. The amphitheater saw 6,000+ pass through vendor booth’s, many of them sold out of their food products. The non-profit Palm Beach VegFest and the community that supports efforts of cruelty free lifestyle, farm to table products, creating a platform for local speakers to reach the masses and bringing in new and inventive solutions to meals benefits its local community with its global ideas.

The next planned event in 11.11.18 in Palm Beach at the Meyer Amphitheater. For more information on any future details or to catch up on all things VegFest go to pbvegfest.com
